Timber Train
Travel through time and nature aboard The Timber Train. Departing from Mattawa, Ontario this one day rail excursion travels along the scenic Ottawa River Valley and through the Majestic Laurentian Foothills to the quaint garden town of Temiscaming, Quebec. Pembroke Heritage Murals
Turn a corner in Pembroke and visitors may find themselves face to face with a mural depicting one of the area's early settlers. As part of an effort to promote the region's culture and heritage the city supports large-scale paintings on downtown walls and by 2005, 25 had been painted.
