Driftwood Provincial Park skirts a bay on the Ottawa River, where fishing and canoeing are popular, as well as hikes. The soil is ashy after a great fire in 1975, but supports jack pine, aspen and blueberry bushes. Deer roam the area and there is a multitude of birds (over 200 different species) to observe.
